My cousin brother who intends to get a new car for his job purpose, we decided to step in the Proton Showroom, near Damansara Perdana. After discussed on the finance loan packages, we requested to have a ‘feel’ on the manual version. Through own experience could be far best described a thousand words by the others. It was just a 10 min test drive and I am not a professional vehicle drive tester, so please do not criticize my knowledge and my writings, OK?

Its outlook design seems tall, small and cutie. Three colors are available at this moment. They are STRATOS (passion blue), MIDNIGHT (tranquility black) and MAGMA (chilli red). However, we are a little upset on the interior design especially on the color matching. Dark grey and light yellow are not a good combination. Sigh…. However, there are some designs which I personally feel not bad though.

Passenger’s seats at the back are quite spacious. People like me with 180cm height could fit in comfortably. You don’t have to squeeze down a bit to adjust yourself like SAGA. However, if I am at the driver’s seat, people sit behind me might have to suffer from very limited space.

The panel looks sporty with yellow faced instrument and also comes with digital display on a LCD.

I like the audio system panel so much as you could see from the picture. Not many small vehicles would have this good looking panel.

The reverse gear activation is very different from the normal one. It is position at the first gear. A special technique is required by pulling up the cap right at the bottom of the gear holder. You could feel it is shaking while you are stepping more on pedal. I think this is standard as for small vehicle.

The handling is also good at the speed of 80km/h (as I couldn’t go further due to the track). I am wondering whether Myvi would have the same capability. I shall ‘feel’ it too on the upcoming weekend. Stay tune for my forthcoming blog on Myvi……

Was your decision a pull factor or a push factor?” I still remembered my previous boss asked while I was having dinner with her. It was after a month later since I joined new organization. I answered, “Both”. “Which one is more prevail?” she continued. I replied, “Both are equally same”. I think it is a bit late to ask me all this.

I never thought that I had made such move, leaving from the most leading local investment bank and moving toward to foreign one. With the enjoyment and disappointment that I had gone through all this while, I decided to move on when there’s an opportunity.

My previous peers felt that I should wait until the bonus is released and also the Shares Options. Although I opted to forgo all the benefits which I entitled, but I feel career path is more importantly sound and looking forward to gain relevant experience as much as I could.

There is always a question which the new employer would like to ask, “What is the reason you leave your current company?” I explained that I have intention to broader my exposure on how distinctive the behavior between the local bank and the foreign bank in all aspects. And then, I joined on 6 Dec 2004.

There are a lot of differences in terms of workflow, environment, procedures, culture and the organizational structure. One of the unique of its culture is that, an employee could always bring up an issue to a higher level of seniority if he thinks he’s right while his immediate superior disagreed. I am impressed because not every organization could put this into practice.

After six months probation period, my job performance is being recognized; hence, I am officially confirmed as part of DEUTSCHE BANK.

Deutsche Bank, an organization in the FORTUNE 500 ranking, carrying with a slogan: A Passion to Perform.
